ACT Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage of a fail to stop incident on Tuesday in Richardson.
At 9.05am police were parked at the corner of Dawbon Place and Hemmings Crescent in Richardson, when they saw a white Toyota Hilux ute turn onto Hemmings Crescent and speed past the marked police car.
Police attempted to catch up to the ute, which they say was travelling at 80km/h in the 60km/h zone, before indicating for the vehicle to stop at the intersection with Laker Crescent.
The ute failed to stop, and was seen swerving in its lane and driving erratically along Beattie Crescent, Goldstein Crescent, and Isabella Drive, including crossing onto the wrong side of Isabella Drive, narrowly avoiding a collision with another vehicle.
Police have already spoken to a number of witnesses and collected some dash-cam footage, but would still like to speak to anyone else who witnessed this incident or who may have footage.
Anyone with information should call 1800 333000.
